There is no business too small, too large, too complex or too simple to avoid having a business plan.
"Business Plan Master" was written by David A. Works, a member of the Association of Shareware Professionals (ASP).
In these template files, I give you a professional format, some excellent sample text and several spreadsheet files for you to use. Alone these could save you many hundreds of hours of work. Because of the wide diversity of businesses and business ideas, I have tried to make these files as universal as possible. In the real world, no two businesses are alike. If you are starting a new business, you likely have some unique ideas to differentiate yourself from your competitors. Over time, you will likely incorporate your own language into the text and make modifications to the worksheets.
Please work on copies of these files in case you trash one. It happens to all of us!
Requirements
Any Mac with a word processing or page layout program will do fine. You will also need Microsoft Excel 2.2 or higher. If you have Microsoft Word 4.0 or higher, the files are ready to go and include sample formats, styles, fonts (Helvetica and Times), and some very simple graphics (like boxes). These files are designed for use by those with a basic (not advanced) knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets.
List of Files:
The text files are in two formats: Text and Word 4.0. If you have Word 4.0, open the "Word" folder and double-click on any document to open it. If you don't have Word, your word processor or page layout program can import all the documents in the "Text" folder. The spreadsheet files must be opened with Excel 2.2 or higher or any program which can import this format.
Business Plan Master
This is the main template document. A ready-to-go form which will help you have a business plan in print in just a few hours.
Documentation
A complete manual. I suggest you print this out to guide you in filling out file "Business Plan Master".

BPM Breakeven Analysis
